Remove them from the league, refund their money and find replacements for their teams.

Politely explain that we need them to be more involved. This should include a minimum of setting weekly line-ups, checking the forum once a week, and answering trade offers within one week. Removal from the league if don't follow through.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to the thread on what to do about Richard and Christine. As we all suggested, this is a difficult decision to make.
I've created a poll outlining three options Please vote and we will go from there.
Cheers, Matt

Thanks Matt for posting the Poll. Should be interesting to see the results.
Should it go so far that we remove them from the league, we will naturally need two GMs to take things over. Do we have two?
Brandon has assured me that Scott is ready and waiting, but Jarrett's brother is not interested in taking over a roster mid season.
Matt, I think that you once mentioned that you had a friend in mind, but I am not sure where he or she stands at the moment.
Love to hear an update from you guys as to where we are on this issue.

looks like we have a tie unless chris comes on here and votes. haven't we already done the second option? the third option seems like it shouldn't even be on there if we want to mantain a healthy active league for the next 6 months.

Hi guys,
I am asking someone who is a die-hard hockey fan and is in two leagues that I am involved in. Just in case. I will let you know what he says.
Thanks

Thanks Ray. Good news there.
Let's see what Chris has to say on the matter. I agree with you Brandon. Option two has been explored. Should Chris vote that way however, we must follow through with it.

i agree with Brandon on this one
i think we have tried option 2 numerous times so it should be option 1 or 3 and option 3 is why we have this problem in the first place

I vote that if we can't find an adequate replacement from within (ie. somebody who is going to be involved with the league), then we look outside the league. There is no rule that we have to chose a friend of somebody who is in this league.
If we can't find somebody, then Greg and/or myself will take the team over until the off-season. No trades allowed of course, so that doesn't really resolve that particular problem.

Dan passes as he has too many fantasy football and hockey teams at the moment.
Looks like Nutbars has to "pull the goalie".
Good luck!

i think if we post something on fantasy cafe or the espn message boards we should ask them to tell us why they would be a good fit and then post there response here so we can all take a glance before allowing them into the league.

OK, the ideer is quiet good I agree.
We still need to see how Chris feels ............ any luck Ray?
But if it looks like we are going to let Richard and Christine loose, then we have Brandon's friend Scott plus _____________.
Dobber forums would also be a good idea.
Otherwise, like Matt said, if we cannot find a suitable replacement now, it will have to wait until the offseason.

So it's either we find 2 replacements or we wait till next year?

Not to completely butt in, and not that I have been stalking you guys since leaving but if you need a temp GM to run one of the teams until you find a suitable replacement (long term) my semester finished today and I am officially done school so I can manage a team as if it were my own until you guys find one for the long run.

Hey everyone! I was overjoyed to see that my name had to been deleted from the database Things are going great actually. Finally done with school and looking for work in my field; preferably away from Montreal, ideally in Europe. I started having a social life again, forgot what that was all about, lol.
I hope everyone here is doing well too!! Also, if anyone knows of any work needed in the field of our natural environment give me a shout; lol.
