I'm up early and bored so I read over the Manifesto again about dropping at this time of year. It states the following.....
"For the January draft, managers must let the commissioner know which players they wish to drop (up to five players) no later than three days before the draft. If they do not, they will not be allowed to participate in the supplemental draft."
Not sure why this is there to be honest. I would highly doubt that someone would be interested in drafting a player that was recently dropped? Maybe it is an admin thing and if so then OK. Also the last line does not make sense to me. Failing to do so disqualifies you from the draft? How would anyone know? Maybe it is to be read that failing to do so prevents you from dropping players and are stuck with them and will have to draft accordingly?
Do we need to have this rule in the Manifesto at all? Should be able to drop up until the last day before the draft? Sounds good to me.
