Hope Ray and Chris are Staying Safe

With all the craziness of Hurricane Sandy, I just wanted to let Ray and Chris know that the Nutbars are collectively thinking about you. Hope you are both staying safe!

Moreover, I thought I would change my avatar to something more befitting of Sandy.

Heyyyyyy! We are both well but without power. It took me 3 hours to get to work by car service when it usually takes me 20 minutes by car, or 30 minutes by express bus and 50 minutes by bus and subway.

Let's see what I will do when it is time to go home.

Thanks for thinking of us. I am hearing some really terrible stories from people I know, and although they are okay, their neighbors are not.

Tonight will get cold, so I am hoping power is back on but it is highly unlikely.

Hey guys , thank you for the thoughts!!!! Rough week for everyone out here. Still no power for the jersey boy. Team Oshie it needs a vacay! Like ray mentioned , we came out way unscathed for the most part , my town is a wreck( mahwah ,nj). War zones are more organized than this place. 7 houses on my block , over 100 trees knocked down between us. 3 hit next door neighbors house, a sad mess. But Nobody was hurt!!!! And that is the most important thing. I certainly hope everyone is doing well.

Totally agree. Glad to hear everyone is safe, which is the most important thing. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for NY to get it's subway system online again.

Got rain in Ontario. Some wind. A dead branch came down in my yard... us guys that have never seen the ocean, tend to be safer than those guys that see the ocean all the time!

Whizz says the ocean is "figger o de majnayshun". He's pretty wise!
