Good day fellas. Looks like the two sides are talking again. There is hope for us yet.

Well, it is my first Movember and I am fired up. If you are unsure what I am talking about check this TED talk out:

http://on.ted.com/movember

If you have a little spare change jingling in your pockets, I would appreciate it. If you make a single donation of $50000 to my Movember, I will kiss you at the end of the month.

Here is the official stuff:

Hi,

It's Movember and time to make a difference.

Men’s health is a cause I am passionate about but in order to make a difference I need your help. My commitment is to grow a moustache for the month of November and in doing so, raise vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer and male mental health.

I am asking you to help support my personal journey by making a donation. The size of which isn’t important, every little bit helps Movember to continue funding its world class programs. If you want to know more about what you’ll be helping to fund, you can visit http://ca.movember.com/about/funding-overview/.

To highlight the importance of what I am doing, take a look at these statistics:
• 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
• This year 26,500 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed
• 1 in 5 men will experience a mental illness this year

If you’d like to help change these statistics, please donate to me here: http://mobro.co/gregchapler

If you’re interested, here’s a video that will help you better understand the type of programs you’ll be helping to fund by making a donation. For wider details, take a look at the Programs We Fund section on the Movember website: http://ca.movember.com/about/funding-overview/

Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health.

Greg Chapler

Clever. I never noticed that.

Fun to take a look at that trade between you and John. I love looking at past trades. My most recent trade with Brandon is one that I will be watching extremely:

Trade #167, July 13th 2012

Soo Storm Gets

Alex Ovechkin - LW - Washington Capitals
Jarome Iginla - RW - Calgary Flames

for

Desolation Row Gets

Corey Perry - RW - Anahiem Ducks
Dustin Byfuglien - D - Winnipeg Jets
4th rd Sept 2012 (Desolation Row)

If there is no season, then that would be a boost for me when one evaluates the trade. That would put that aging stud Iginla one year closer to petering out. If there is no season, however, it would be no damn fun for us.

That 4th round pick translated into Kyle Turris. No offense to Mr Turris, but he would need to have quite a season for that to impact the trade in any way shape or form.

All in good fun anyhow.

Hope everyone is well.

G

PS Thanks once again Ray for your donation. Really appreciated.

I'll donate, as long as I'm able to get a glossy 11 x 17 inch poster of the final product to put on our living room wall. LOL.
