The Weekly Wrap Up: Week 4

And we now have a two way tie for first place as we head into the half way point of this shortened season. Matt and Jarrett are sporting 3-1 records and really looking to pull away from the 2-2 log jam that is chasing them. As I write this, Jarrett has a slim lead vs Scoop and Matt is trailing Brandon by a hair.

It was a great week for Ray, who made 4 appearances on The Big Board. Can P.Rinne make it three weeks in a row as the top goalie?

I see that Sid has made his second showing as our stud of the week. Lots more of that to come I fear.

I just noticed that Scoop took over the lead for the highest single night total last week with 117.8. Just edging Chris as he had 116.4 in week one. I wonder if that 117.8 will hold?

With Voracek having such a big week, 61.8 pts. 4 goals 7 assists. i thought for sure he would've set the record for highest weekly total ever.

But now that I look at it, it's not even the highest this year!!

Marleau had 75.8 pts!! 8 goals and 3 Assists

Also how would Marleau who had 11 pts as far as i know, have so many more fantasy pts then Voracek who also had 11 pts?

Sam Gagner had a week last year with 73.8 points, which included his eight-point night. It would be interesting to know if any other players had a better week.

Marleau's 75.8 pts as far as i can see is from that first week which was like 11 days long.
Shouldnt' we adjust his totals to make up for such a long week?

Prolly the same with Anderson and Shattenkirk that week.

Yes, you are right Jarrett. It hardly seems fair to compare an eleven-day week with a seven-day week.

Perhaps Sam Gagner's 73.8 week is the biggest then.
