And that is 5 wins in a row for The Fitzsy Stars. They are just rolling and looking very comfortable up top with an impressive 7-1 record. With 3 weeks left in our regular season, it is still mathematically possible for him to be unseated, but it will take a very peppy effort from the rest of us. Ray has the 'opportunity' this week to do some damage and has perhaps timed things well with Letang, Krejci, and Quick on the bench. Will it be enough? Ray put some good points up on the board last week, so things could get interesting.
The Juggernauts look to be in playoff form of late. Loads of hot players on his roster at the moment. I would prefer to not meet up with them in R1 of the playoffs.
Also PoPo. They have amassed the 2nd highest point total this season and look to be in terrific form at the moment.
The only team that I would feel very comfortable meeting in R1 of the playoffs is my own team. Not sure that can be arranged though.
I see that The Gamblers are up on The Big Board once again with the Highest Nightly Total. They darn near stole the money from The Juggernauts as well. That marks the 3rd time this season that The Gamblers have had that honour. Weeks 4, 5 and 8. Nobody else has managed that as yet.
And how about Chris Stewart? Just horrible for the first part of the season and now he is rocking it. Good job holding onto him John. I know that you have always had a soft spot for him.
And what about Mr. Burns? Another big break for John. As far as I understand it, Burns is now playing forward alongside Marleau & Company and it seems to suit him just fine thus far. Interesting.
