Current Rosters

I wanted to get some feedback on this part of the forum. Brandon has done a miraculous job keeping this chart up to date and beautiful and I thank him for that. I have, however, been wondering of late if we might just do away with it. It is quite a bit of work staying on top of this as our rosters change so frequently. More often that not I suspect that the chart is really not 100% exactly accurate anyhow.

I wonder if it might make more sense to just check ESPN for the most up to date rosters.

I don't mind either way. I keep my own spreadsheet and refer to ESPN for reference when I see a discrepancy anyway. Brandon has done a tremendous job throughout the years keeping us up to date. I know how much work is involved because of my own spreadsheet (which I emulated Brandon for his), but I also keep track of traded draft picks per team.

So for me, it doesn't matter one way or another.

I like having the chart, but would certainly understand if Brandon was finding it difficult to upkeep. Even if it's not completely up-to-date all the time, it's nice being able to look at everyone's roster side by side for quick references.

I did a chart like Brandon's some 20 years ago. Yes, way more work than many might realize. I always liked these charts very much, as you can see everything at once.

At some point in time, I stopped my chart. With this being 2013, anyone wanting the info, can reference the league data base to get the info. It isn't as handy to use as it takes more time to print all the pages.

As long as Brandon is happy compiling, we would all be wise to congratulate and thank him. When he decides he's had enough... well we won't be 'spoiled' anymore!

Well, I can always post mine on here as I try to keep up after every trade. Someone just show me how to post an Excel Spreadsheet.

Just click the 'host an image' icon (located 13th from the left on the tabs above) and then upload your spreadsheet by clicking the host it button. Then copy the image url given and paste it using the 'insert image' icon locate to the immediate right of the 'host an image' icon.

It all sounds quite fancy and even a tad tricky, but if I can figure it out, anyone can.

that's not working.  Any other ideas? I have a PDF version, but there is no URL for the Excel Spreadsheet or the PDF.

The Excel has past drafts on the bottom tabs.

We are working hard on the GUIDE and it is almost ready. The TEAM PAGES are almost done. The SLEEPERS feature, which is new, is done. Then I will work on the TIERS this weekend. Mike and Steve are writing up the 7 PRIME CHOICE and 7 PRIME CUT Players as well a REBOUND PLAYER feature.

I will include my feature article on KOVALCHUK that was on the website along with the WELCOME page and DRAFTING STRATEGIES article for those needing assistance in drafting or for those who are new to fantasy hockey.

We are very excited for the upcoming season. We will also be offering a spreadsheet that has over 600 players and three years of stats which is fully "sortable" by the subscriber.
