But, crimony, is Christmas ever a busy time. Honestly, I am thinking of introducing some sort of strategy for next year that can reduce the Hecticity of The Holidays.
Did you note the new word above? Hecticity. I just created it spur of the moment and I like it. Might be the red wine but I like it.
OK, back to the big board.
John, if you hit the Dud of the Week column again you will set a new international record.
And Matt? Was that really necessary to take back the Highest Weekly Total so fast? I mean at least let Scott enjoy it for a week or two for crying out loud. I mean, that column is not yours afterall, we are meant to share it.
And Scoop. I am a little angry at you. With my 115.7 tally in week 13 I fall just 0.9 points shy of your 116.6 total in week 10. You could share that column a bit as well my friend.
Desolation Row has been in a little funk of late. Not a lot of time on the B.B. and not a lot to get excited about save the James Neal explosion the other day. Sigh ........ such is the life of a fantasy hockey G.M.
It won't be long and we will have ourselves a little Olympic Break. Wondering if anyone would like to have some sort of Olympic Pool? I sure would. Love to hear some ideas thrown around and get things organized so that it is not a big rush. I think we ought to throw some money in as well. Gotta keep it interesting.......

Thanks for posting an update to the B.B. Even if the holidays are full of hecticity, it's awful nice of you to do the job at all.
By the way, Top Defenseman during WEEK 12 was Mark Streit with 28 points. Are you trying to pull a fast one there my good man? Perhaps your special way of putting a metaphorical lump of coal in my stocking?
Cheers, Matt

I think Ray's team has flourished because of that steadicity. Very few superstars, but his team is pretty consistent. He's also had a fair bit of luck go his way. He's only ahead of the three last-place teams in terms of the most-points-for category. And he's had the fewest points-against of any team.
This is not griping. To win, every team needs some bounces, and this year Ray's team has managed a few of them. What this suggests, however, is that somebody could still overtake him if the bounces start going the other way.
I've got you in my sights, Raymond Stock.
