Waiver problem

FYI.

A waiver problem I'm having today, made the trades, and want to fill out my roster. I could go in and force through the trades, but I don't want to do anything improper.

Deadline is upon us. I have been emailing Matt & Greg, but they aren't available. I would simply like to use the pickups that we are entitled to.

I'm hoping that the members of the league will see that this is a loop hole in the system, and allow me to make four waiver bids, then pend on the acceptance of the trades. I also felt that I needed to post prior to the deadline. I have forwarded my bids to Matt & Greg & Ray.

I will have to ask Greg to see what he says about this.

I also have a waiver pick-up I want, but he is a prospect not listed on ESPN yet, so I'm also double-checking with him to see about that process.

just to add to this, when scoop and I were talking about this big trade today we were talking about how I could pick up those waiver pickups for him and include them in the deal after 6pm. however the trade was accepted and it is now not possible to do this option.


I have no issue with scoop doing this.

What happens if you bid on same guy as someone else??

Obviously, if somebody else has put in a higher bid, they would claim the player. I personally have no problem with Scoop doing this either, I just want to clarify with Greg before making a definitive statement.

Because scoop just made a trade hes unable to put a waiver bid in till his trades are put through? Is thst the issue?

Yes, he wants to claim several players off the waiver wire to fill the holes created by his trades today, but ESPN won't allow him to do that until the trades are put through tomorrow (and by that time the waiver wire period will also be over I believe).

I know this will not help this year, but perhaps the trade deadline should be on a Thursday to facilitate waiver pickups.

We made a rule that we can only add players that are on ESPN with our FAAB rule. We will definitely need to make the deadline one day before waver. This is also out last time to use FAAB for this season right?
