Draft Options

Greetings Fellow GMs.  Just back from a week paddle trip and getting caught up on the action.  I see last year we started our 'Slow Draft' September 1st.

I suppose the first question is whether we should stick with that 'slow' format.  It seems to have worked well in the past for us.  The likelihood of having all parties available at the same time for a live draft is very slim I think.

Wondering if we ought not start the draft a bit later?  Any thoughts on that?  Just tossing the idea of a Mid September start.

I am flexible thought.

Keep in mind that our keepers must be fixed one week prior to the date we choose.

A later start might be more beneficial for updates, so I would vote for later. There's only so much the PrimePucks guide can predict the future (wink, wink)

I finally have my 2018-19 Prime Pucks guide, so I'll need a few days to digest all the great info. I'd vote for a mid September draft.

Would we all be happy with a September 14th start? That's a Friday.
If so, Keepers need to be fixed on the 7th.

Id be a little tied up from the 14th till the 18th.

But ill try my best to leave picks.

I'm happy to start on the 14th, or to wait until the 18th if it suits our group. It would suck to start on the 14th and have to wait long periods for Jarrett (and probably not as enjoyable for him).

If its the 19th id be free for 7 straight days if that works for everyone else?

If not im out working at a mine with little to zero cell coverage from 6am-6pm est time

i just started doing Underground Truck Hauling at a gold mine

I think I'm happy with whatever. Worst case is I have to go away for a weekend, and I have Josh to lean on.

But its Run by a bigger company called Alamos who have a few mines and other ventures across north america

So have we decide on date for the draft? ESPN is still saying 14th but there has been a discussion to make it the 19th as Jarrett is not really free until then. No WIFI in a mine. - those bastards! Haha

Also what about a switch to Fantrax? Are we still looking into this?
