Interesting stats to say the least. Cam Ward has been my weekly MVP as much as Roberto Luongo and in less weeks owned by my team then Roberto.

Also 4 guys tied for 3 times being the weekly MVP.

The highest weekly score was: Nicklas Backstrom - 66.4
The lowest weekly score was: Corey Perry - 25.3

That is rather neat. Overall it seems your top players have been your top players so to speak.
I am honestly surprised Cammy did not top the pile more given his year.

Lundqvist - 2 (was also weekly MVP for Greg after I traded him)

Also of note is that Giguere & Jokinen were both weekly MVPs before they made their way onto my team.

Lowest weekly score (of MVPs) was Doan with 24.5

I wish I could find out what were the highest scores of players on my bench. Oh well.

Great idea for a thread, Joel. I'm a bit of a stats nut, so I thought I'd look not only at weekly MVPs, but at how many times players appeared in the weekly top three.

Not surprisingly, Ovechkin topped the list, followed closely by Alexander Semin.

Seeing as how Ovechkin was #1 so many times, I was curious to see how my other players performed, so I also counted how many times they appeared on the weekly top three:

I think the thing that surprised me most here was the number of times defensemen appeared on the weekly top three, especially considering they don't have an advantage over forwards. For example, defense points are not counted as more than forward points.

Out of 60 possible top three placements (20 weeks X 3), there were 15 times that defensemen appeared on the list. That's 25% of the time.

The numbers were no doubt skewed because Green appeared eight times, but nevertheless an interesting statistic.

my teams top scorers for the weeks have been all over the map. the first 10 weeks + i didn't have the same guy as my top scorer;

Well, very interesting indeed. Savard is the winner I would say, generating 6 first place finishes and 7 top three. Otherwise it is quite mixed. Only three times did a G register the most points on my roster and only once did a D hold that honor. 3 times this year did a player who is no longer on my roster lead my team in points. Carter, Jokinen and Clowe.
