So long and thanks for all the fish..

Hey everyone,

So I have been giving things a considerable amount of thought this last while and I have unfortunately decided that I do not think I have the time to stay involved with this league this upcoming year.

I have been looking into school for next year and probably working part time as well and as a result time, already a rare commodity in my life is going to be something I will have less of.

I have really enjoyed my time with this league and will be sorry to not be a part of it however I just do not feel I have the time to commit to it.

I hope that my decision allows the league to find a good replacement willing to take on my team. I feel pretty confident someone will be willing as my team does have some nice pieces to move forward with. Might I recommend to whomever takes over to try and trade one of their many capable forwards for an upgrade on the back-end, it proved my main weakness this year.

I also want to take a quick moment and wish everyone the best, and make a bold prediction that Joel will shock the Nutbars League by going from last in the league to challenging for the league title next year.

If any of you are ever in Edmonton please look me up and we will try and catch a game. I may pop by these boards every so often and say hi.

Special thanks to Matt and Greg for creating such a great league. If I ever find myself some free time I will for sure put my name on a waiting list to try and get back on board.

Seriously though, you'll be missed. I'm hoping that you and I will be cheering on a Stanley Cup winning Oiler team in a couple years down the road.

I hope that you enjoy school and it leads to some great opportunities for you down the road.

Keegan, it was a pleasure to meet your acquaintance and I have enjoyed our time together. I wish you success in your future endeavors and hope that life treats you well. You will definitely be missed and you will never be forgotten. You are an original member and were instrumental in the foundation of the Nutbars league. I hope you will get to see your Oilers raise the cup in the near future with Taylor Hall parading the cup around the rink.
