I agree with all of them except for Phoenix vs. Detroit. I see the Wings and Canucks facing off in the conference final in the West, and Washington and Buffalo in the East.

If Ovechkin continues to play like a grandma then there's a good chance Montreal could upset Washington. My big worry for Washington and San Jose is the same one Detroit used to face sometimes: they peaked early and didn't play meaningful hockey for the last few weeks of the regular season.

Anyone think that Montreal can pull off the upset?
Yes. I'm not one to blame the referees. But they were horrendous in Game 2. Can't blame the refs for the Caps scoring goals. But they gave them 3 or 4 more chances then they should have with a few weak calls against the habs in the 3rd

This isn't me, but I feel the exact same way about Hamrlik. Mine you I wouldn't go screaming about it to the point where he almost pops a vessel in his head. Sad to say that when the caps scored the SH goal at the end of the second period I lost it and I spent the whole intermission on one long rant on why they put him on in pp situations. SK played the point in the OHL and AHL on PP, I'd rather have him or play 4 on 4 then have hammer on the ice this season, he's been brutal

Hmmmmmmm...looks like my predictions aren't looking so hot. NJ out in 5, Buffalo on the brink, Montreal won one game so far(no sweep for Washington) and Ottawa is giving Pittsburgh some fits. SJ is taking control(Setoguuuuuuuuuuuuchi) and LA causing problems. Detroit/Phoenix and Nashville/Chicago looking good.
