Made a bid. Non prospect player.
Could not hold off any longer.
Everyone see it? Or is it secret?
Not sure how it works really.

Do we need to drop a player ahead of bid or only if you win bid?

Do I have to be dressed to make a bid or can I submit it totally naked?

i think when you try to bid it will ask you who to drop. also, are we allowed to fill empty bench spots?

I think it will be a secret bid and on the Monday if you are the highest bidder than you get that person. It also asks you who you want to conditionally drop. So if you bid and don't get the player than you still keep your conditionally dropped player.
I was assuming we would be able to keep our roster at 33 for this trial. So if you do a two for one trade (as I did) you would be able to bid on a player to fill the empty bench spot. I didn't think this would be an issue, but it may be, now that I think about it. So I think we will need another vote as to if people want us to be allowed to fill empty bench spots with FAAB.
And maybe the person that hasn't voted is one of those that said they didn't care. So I guess if they don't vote soon the rule will be you can't add goalies that have career games of 42 or less. And you can't add skaters that have career games of 82 or less.

sounds good to me.
also i don't see why you wouldn't be able to fill a empty roster spot with this auction bidding, it is A okay in my book!

Luckily I just rechecked my player I wanted to add. Has only played 70 games... lol. Had to Cancel my bid dammitt. So since we are An hour away from starting FAAB and the vote is 5-4 I'm assuming it's confirmed that all skaters must have played their 83rd game before we can bid on them and all goalies must've played 42 games??!! I wanted Voynov pretty bad too.... next years draft I guess.... I'd say about round 3 or 4 depending on how he finishes his season.

I think that since we are still waiting on that last vote we will have to leave it as John said above.
Perhaps, if the final vote locks us at 5-5, then we will have to find a compromise.
