I have dug deep into the Nutbar's archives, but have been unable to unearth a more impressive Dud of the Week than we witnessed in Week 6. A mortifying -6.2 from Mr. Weber. It is a good thing that he is so damn good looking or otherwise I would be finished loving him. Will we see a worse Dud this season? Side bets anyone?
Two B.B. appearances for Getzlaf under the Highest Single Game Total column thus far. He will have to get himself up there a couple more times to equal what Malkin did two seasons ago. And we can't forget Sam Gagner who owns this category with 47.8 fantasy points in one night. Remember that Matt?
Still no repeat visitors for goalies. Fleury, Bernier, Price, Neimi, Crawford, Pavelec .......
And thank heavens there was not a tie in the Stud of the Week category. I still have not forgiven Hossa and Pominville for what they forced me to do with my font.
Some big match ups this this week as always. Good luck to all!

What a dominant performance by Mr. Chapler last week, catapulting him into 1st place overall. Four out of six points categories is not too shabby.
I suspect that the Fitzsy Stars will find it much harder to hit the board without a certain Mr. Stamkos in his line-up.
Updated standings:
Desolation Row -- 7 Shattenkirk -- 5 Fitzsy Stars -- 4 Arthur Tigers -- 4 Team Po-Po -- 3 Legion of Doom -- 3 Gamblers -- 1.5 Buffalo Cab -- 1.5 Juggernauts -- 1 Shoreside -- even

Thanks for the update Matt. It was, indeed, a miracle week for Desolation Row. I have recently increased my fiber intake so perhaps there is a correlation there.
Yes, you have taken a blow with Mr. Stamkos Matt, but I think that you will be able to rise above it. Your roster is frightening.
That said, I see that The Juggernauts are making you hustle thus far this week.

It appears as though Mr. Quick is also down for the count. Let's just hope it's not as long-lived as Mr. Stamkos's injury.
I'm glad to see the fiber intake is working for you. Perhaps I shall have to try that approach.

4 bowls of All Bran each morning plus one handful of salted roasted corn nuts each and every half hour throughout the day. However, on days where my goalies are starting, I half the amount of All Bran and double the amount of corn nuts. This disrupts my system terribly, but it seems to be working well with everyone save Craig Anderson. Mysterious.

It certainly seems to be the right combination of ingredients for Martin Brodeur.

I just wonder if your fiber intake is perhaps related in some way to the recent injuries on your roster. I don't want to get too personal, but I think it is time for you to examine your poops in a bit more detail.
