KEEPERS..........

Hey fellas.  John pointed out earlier this weekend that we need to go into our rosters and fix our keepers officially.  This will help us as we set our rosters.  If you have not done that yet, please do so.  If you do not know how, send John a loving PM and he will gently, yet firmly guide you through the process.

I see a few teams still need to select their keepers. Should select everyone so you don't have to re add your team... maybe, this wasn't a feature last year as I recall. Since it's already the 3rd it could be too late. No biggy, you just have to us LM tools to add players after we finalize. The keeper tab is on you team page. Just check everyone.

We are live. Seems to have worked out with the keepers. Didn't have to put in anyone except Bonino for Shore. Make sure your team looks right.

Just reviewing. I see that player positions have changed since the draft. That can be pretty nasty. Planning from just a few days ago, is somewhat out the window.

It happened to me as well. Granlund and Schenn no longer have LW eligibility. This is why I made the suggestion just as the draft was getting started that poolies who have this happen should have the choice to drop one or two players and add from the existing free agents before the season starts. Which I'm personally fine with, although others raised some objections.

In any case, if we can't agree on what to so this year we'll definitely need to figure out what to do about that for next year.

This is why you should buy The PrimePucks Fantasy Hockey Draft Guide. PP lists all the correct positions of players so that you have the most accurate information in front of you.

I do not mind the add/drop prior to the season to remedy this problem, but it should only be allowed over a 1-2 day period, set in advance.

That's my two cents.

I have a Dynasty team on Yahoo as well, and it's interesting that the positional eligibility is different on Yahoo compared to ESPN. I would argue that it doesn't help much to know the "correct" position of a player if the website you're using has different ideas about that!

I suspect some of these players will get dual eligibility, but last year it wasn't until December for one or two of my guys.

However, I do like your idea Ray with regards to opening things up for a day or two before the season starts, rather than having it open perpetually. I think that makes sense.
