Is it possible to make this a yes/no vote then if it is yes we move onto actual number of keepers?

I know its a but late, but i was too busy whining about this topic and never just asked this simple question before

I love crabbiness! So I'll put in my two cents. I asked for a vote on this issue and was told that we had to bring it to Items to discuss, then wait for a specific two week window which I think we already passed. That made me crabby. lol!

If we try something then next year if someone hates it and thinks they can convince 6 people to agree then we change it back. Like FAAB. Ideally we vote on all our issues and if the vote doesn't go our way we just accept it or quit. I've had several votes not go my way. I never quit... but I love to bitch about it

Now having said all that I do think the number of 5 keepers was just an idea. I think only a few more would help make this pool more interesting to those of us that love watching players develop. And I don't think the trade lovers would be hurt that much.

I actually love the draft too...little too long but even my last pick is exciting to me.

My thing was 5, not the keeper idea itself.

I know. I just got home and was reading back a bit. Just wanted to comment on a few things and more keeps getting added. lol

my guess is we will end 5-5 anyway which means the rule will not pass. We seem to be a perfect 50/50 split on this issue.

hmmm let me think on that Jarrett... I'm actually surprised we got to 4 to be honest. No one seemed to like this idea when I asked for a vote during the season. I wanted to see where we stood. I wasn't sure anyone was interested in adding a few more keepers.

We need to discuss a few other things before the season as well. Like how much money will we have for FAAB and minimum cost. Do we draft 30 and the other three will be added via FAAB? Can we trade money and how will that work? And once I'd like is, are we going to make a rule about conditional trades? And a rule on trades involving the same players between the same managers?(for those trying to work around conditional trades).No idea what thred these conversations should take place on but I guess not on a voting thred.

I will definitely say 'yes' to Jarrett having kids. Now, it may be a question if you want kids. They are a lot of work but I have to say getting up in the middle of the night helped me win consecutive fantasy league championships back in the days when they fought with spears. That's spears, not sperm Greg.

Perhaps 5 is bit too much, for both keepers and kids.

In light of the most recent input, I wonder if I ought to tweak the damn poll now. There is nothing magical about 5. If people would be happy with less, then perhaps we should pursue that.

Well, I wonder if we could find some consensus on this poll if we lowered the amount of keepers. Would two people switch over if we only moved the keepers up by 3 players for the 2016 draft season? We seem stuck at 4-3... or should we just wait it out.

Make a poll with zero through 5 as number of keepers and settle it that way?

Yes. We are stalled.

We can close this down for this year. A draw will keep the rules the same. I will try and talk it up this season and vote again next year. lol

Would be interesting to know how many voted no because of the increase by 5? Seems there was some talk that people would be ok with increasing if the number was lower?
