Brace yourselves fellas for a big night of drafting. I think we are going to really let loose. I have only 1 pick in the next 17 so I am more an observer than a participant. The Juggernauts should be home after 5pm and then hopefully things will really pop.

I am anxious to see who is available for me in R8. I am digging deep!

I'll be on shortly after 5:30 and will stay on until this puppy is put to sleep.

Can we get it done tonight you think?

Unfortunately, we have dinner guests tonight and I have a LOT of picks ahead of me. I'll do my best to stay on top of things, and to send picks when I can't, but it may get tricky. I have also promised my wife that I would put my daughter to bed, so that will take up some time as well.

In short: I'll do my best, but finishing it tonight may prove tricky for me. Just so you know.

Having said that, I am three hours behind in BC, so I am good to go until at least 8:30 EST. Hopefully we can get a fair bit done between 5:30 and 8:30 EST.

Anthony DeAngelo (D) -- Tampa Bay Lightning

I've seen him play a lot Matt. He's a good one. Lots of offence.

His defense is not so good from what I hear, so he is not without risk. However, I'm hoping that Yzerman will be patient with him, and that should help him to transition.

He must have been fun to watch!
