So i wake up this morning seeing im 2-1 and thinking i lost last night.

After further investigation it looks like they switched the score between me and greg from last week and now i lost instead of getting the W???????????

How the hell can they switch the score to a matchup 7 days later!

it doesn't even say what happened. What if this happens in playoffs?? Scores should be final monday by puck drop

Good points. As a group, we should think this through carefully. I would like it placed on the 'agenda' for discussion later in the year.

I know last year, there were 'corrections' one week, and I went from losing by something like .2 to winning by a similar amount. I had lost when I went to sleep the night before, but was winning in the morning - although the games had all been completed when I went to sleep.

I remember the NHL adding an assist in 2007, many months later, for Joe Sakic. This allowed him his 100 point season.

Why this stuff happens, is all a little beyond me.

I mentioned to Brandon in a PM that the same thing happened to Matt and I in a previous season. I went from winning by 1 or so, to losing. ESPN has a window of opportunity where they are able to make stat corrections. That does, in rare cases, turn a W into an L. I have been on both sides of this thing, so my record is 1-1.

It does happen from time to time because the NHL goes over film of every game and stats are corrected as little as the next day, or as in Joe Sakic's case where they added an assist, a few months later.

Yeah, it's kind of luck of the draw. Sucks to be on the losing side, but...
