Big Board Summary - Week 4

Week 4 in the books.

Boy we had some drama this week. Brandon stealing a W from Ray by a margin of 0.3 points. Brace yourself for another stat correction. PoPo stole a W from me with a Sunday night explosion resulting in a 4.7 point margin of victory. That stung. Finally, Jarrett slipped one from Matt's grasp with a 7.3 point edge. Very good entertainment.

A huge night for you Matt with 111.4 points. That will be very hard to beat.

Greg how did your highest weekly total for week 1 work?

For example week 4 everyone took Monday off, so if we are averaging week 1 cause it was a short week are we averaging week 4 as well?

The whole averaging thing out should probably be looked at. Your total is really high.
Even with that short week in week 1 there was still alot of games, should we even be averaging out any weeks?

Yes I certainly should average out that week where Monday was missed in order to keep things consistent.

We have always averaged out the short weeks with the intent on keeping things fair. That said, I would be more than happy to eliminate it next season as it would save a bit of nonsense.

Let's put it on the list of things to work on.

Ok something to discuss in offseason. I know we've always averaged it out.

Would be interesting to see how many games there were week 1 compared to say a regular week.

Short weeks tend to have more games cramed in as well which skews the results when averaging it out

I see this as being more of a problem with long weeks, which for obvious reasons have to be averaged out.
