Hi there fellers. It seems to me that it is slowly time for us to discuss when we would like to have our mid season draft. I can't remember for certain but I think we did it late in December of last year or early in January.
I am open to all options, but I think that we should get things fixed so we can juggle everyone's busy schedules.
We should also begin to consider the format that we want. Live vs Slow. In this years September draft we tried out the rather painful ''Live but excruciatingly painful Slow Draft''. I think we can work on speeding things up quite a bit in the future.

Live either one the 26, 27th or 28th would be best for me. After that the 2nd would work.

Best days for me would be 28th, 29th, 30th, or 31st. As of Jan first I will be away until the end of January. I would probably be able to start a slow draft on Dec 26th as well, although I wouldn't be able to do a live version on the 26th or 27th as I will be visiting with family in Ontario and probably won't have ready access to the Internet.

Whatever works for you guys. Likely I'll have to submit some kind of list if it's live - I would not be able to do anything even remotely close to that marathon we had to kick things off this year.
A slow draft would work for me since I can research and do my picks each evening after work, but I can roll with whatever is decided.

Sunday the 26th definitely works for me as far as a live draft. The rest of the week I am working and can log on occasionally or more frequent depending on how busy I get if we decide to do a "slow-burn" draft.

Poolies,
My schedule.
Dec 25 Xmas Dec 26 Xmas Dec 27 Tournament (Creemore) (6:30 a.m. returning 3:00 to 9:00 pm) Dec 28 Tournament (Creemore) (6:30 a.m. returning 3:00 to 9:00 pm)
I prefer slow draft, planned so that the opening two or three rounds (at least) are finished in time to achieve a roster deadline. We could consider starting prior to Christmas in order to achieve this. Not 100% certain how I would achieve participation in a live draft.
I would be available New Years Eve & New Years Day! (sign of old age)
Would RED be able to hook in with his cell phone?

My work schedule is kind of all over the place I'm usually available after 5pm but i do work nights one week a month till 9pm. Just so happens that will be the week of dec 27th till dec 30.
But since brandon and me are friends i'm pretty sure i could get him a list or make picks through texts.

I would prefer a slow draft starting rather early so that we could have our new dudes in our lineup come the new year.
A nice relaxed slow draft.

I"m on holidays so if we choose live draft I could likely make it. But I would prefer slow draft as well.

I'm fine with a slow draft starting before Christmas, so then we'd have time to finish the draft and get them in our line-ups for the New Year.
What if we start the slow draft Monday, December 20th?

Matt, are you going to drop Green? Just a suggestion. I really don´t think he has much fantasy relevance anymore.

The way all of my Washington players have been playing, I should drop the whole lot of them.

Is it just me, or is it slim picking this year for the midseason draft? I think as a group we did a pretty good job drafting overall.

Hi fellers. Seems like things are slowly taking form with the Mid Season draft. Looks like everyone is comfortable starting early. The 20th seems to be the popular choice. I wondered if anyone wanted to start on the 18th? I only say that because it is a Saturday and we could slowly get things moving whilst drinking alcohol.......
Also, I have a question: I traded my first R pick to Richard in September leaving me with only 4 picks. Does that mean that is all I get? I am too lazy to reread the Manifesto and I know there are some clever dudes on the forum that can answer my question in a jiffy.
OK kids.
Thanks as always.......

if you have a roster going into the draft of 30, you can only draft 3. If 29, then 4, etc.
