Just noticed that Matt has a +120 overall this season.

Crazy.

Nobody is even close.

On the flip side, Joel has a -117.

Are both guys working on new league records? I'm pretty sure Joel is. I always seem to be watching the plus minus derby, from the bottom side... (everyone remember Brindy last year?)

I am curious to know what the worst plus/minus is in the history of the NHL.

Anyone?

It's about -85, one of the Washington Capitals, did it in their first year (about 1975). I'm forgetting who the player is. I was cheering really hard for Mike Sillinger a couple years back to hang out with a few more teams like the Islanders. He was on the verge of being the all time minus leader. He was about -200 on his career and needed to go -220 or something like that, to set the record. Unlike many others on the list, he had managed this by being a career 'expansion team'/'rebuilding team' specialist. He did it slowly and steadily over 15 years, not one great big disaster. Great faceoff man. Quality personality, who consistently signed with non-playoff teams to ensure himself the quality playing time he desired (at least that's what I'm pretending).

On the flip, I know that Bobby Orr had a +120. Not sure what Gretzky's best year was!

I doubt Gretzky crossed 100 - too high scoring!
