Just read this in the Manifesto:
Zitat :
For the January draft, managers must let the commissioner know which players they wish to drop (up to five players) no later than three days before the draft. If they do not, they will not be allowed to participate in the supplemental draft.
I currently have 7 picks in January. Does that mean that I can go ahead and load my roster up to 33? I have 30 on board now, so I would need to drop 4 players in order to use all 7 of my picks and end up at 33.
Also, at this point in makes no matter how many farm team eligible players I have eh? I mean, I could have none and it plays no role at all as far as I can understand. Naturally when I fix my keepers in August, farm team eligible players would become very valuable once again.
Is that correct or did I forget something in my old age?

Roger that my friend.
I have a few duds on my roster that I am anxious to trim away.

You don't have to drop any players, but then you would only be able to use 3 picks. 33 is maximum.
The mid-season draft has no relevance in regards to prospects. It's only at the September draft, that by the end of the draft, you must have 5 prospect eligible players on your roster of 30.

Good question Jarrett.
I think that we recently determined the cut off date for the standings, but never fixed a start for the slow draft.
What did we do last year?
I am flexible.

Did a little digging. Here is what we have:
Zitat :
I think last year we finalized after the 18th and got going around December 26th with a slow draft format. I am fine with that for this year as well.
That would mean we will fix things after match up ten and then we can start on the 26th.
Should be great fun.

I am fairly flexible, although I will likely be busy on the 26th and 27th, as that is when my sister's wedding party/reception is being planned for. The 26th will be preparation and the 27th will be the actual party.
In any case, I can likely check in once or twice, but won't be glued to the computer by any means.

Sorry bro. No IPAD. And it looks like Stacey and I are heading up to Sudbury for a few days after that, to visit one of her good friends. Could be interesting staying on top of things, but I will do my best.
