The Weekly Wrap Up: Week 2

The Week of The Fitzsy Stars it was. With his win over Jarrett, Matt has pulled into the league lead with a snappy 2-0 record. Could this be the first year we have an unbeaten team? Matt grabbed hold of 4 spots on the Big Board leaving only a little bit of room for Crosby and Zetterberg to show their stuff. Speaking of Zetterberg, what a night he had producing 29.6 fantasy points. I was curious about whether or not we had seen better in the past and as I looked over the spreadsheet from last season I was quickly reminded that Sam Gagner went nutty for 47.8 fantasy points in Week 16. I don't remember exactly how he managed that to be honest. Did he have a 7 point night?

About midway through the week it looked like Soo Storm was going to go down to an 0-2 record, but a big surge combined with a Juggernaut Flop has placed him with the masses at 1-1.

It is a big week ahead I feel. Oshie It! needs to grab hold of Matt's collar and pull him back with the rest of us. No need for him to race out to a 3-0 record. It is a very short year so there is not a lot of time to fool around. It is early as I write this, but positive things are happening for Chris as Cam Ward has managed to pull off a W. Miracles do happen it seems.

I think Sam Gagner had an eight point night last year, which beat the record held by Gretzky. Hoping he can perform a little magic like that again this year. I would settle for a six-point nihgt. No reason to get greedy.

would be nice to see longest winning streak, most pts for entire season etc

That would be fun. The weekly wrap-up that Gregger has been doing should provide us with easily accessible stats for many of those record book categories.

I have time on my hands, i could look into something like that.

Does espn keep track of when this league first started?

Seems like i can only go back as far as a few years ago when i started.
It wont show me the stats from first few seasons.
So i cant do it

I can go back to 2009, when the league first started. It doesn't show these earlier seasons to you Jarrett?

I guess cause i joined in 2011 i can only see stats and standings from there on.
It does show 2009 and 2010 but i can't see any stats or standings as i was not part of the league then

charts are updated, as usual make sure they are accurate

I did find a lil problem with my rosters
you just have to drop Stafford and Seidenberg off my team.
After my trade with Greg goes through they will be Free Agents
