TRADE DEADLINE
open up trading for just the NHL trade deadline day. A one-day only trading day as long as our playoffs haven't started.

I've got to think about this. I know in many pools trade deadline day is the deadline for the pool too. (End of that week)

haha....for an outside the box idea, it has drawn quite a lot of attention I must say. I like the thought of having a trade deadline then...let a few weeks go by where you get to see all the NHL trades unfold before your eyes, then you have a window of opportunity to make a last minute adjustment to your team both for the playoffs and next season. And that window can be hectic and fun!

Terrific idea.

I voted no because I always work on trade deadline day. And I'm out of action for 10 to 12 hours that day and would likely miss the chaos and negotiations. I love trade deadline day to see where my players have gone and such but never seen the need to trade then. I personally only see it as one day very close to playoffs to try and snatch older players from one of the teams that isn't going to make the playoffs. I find that all year we work hard to build our best teams for the playoffs but one day would just be a dump and stack for playoff teams... and those with the most emails out would win... and that would never be me lol

I hate to say it but we (I) don't have any way to guarantee availability that day...I could be tied up for 10-12 hours also.
