Draft Options

Wondering how we could handle our draft better this year?

For me, I just love the draft, and it really is one of the most enjoyable parts of Fantasy Hockey, but I would like to avoid the situation where I have to check back constantly to see if it is my turn to select. It's remarkably time consuming. Can we correct this? A live draft is an option. What if we created a WhatsApp Group with all ten of us in there and carried the live draft out there? Possibly there is an even better option. Ideas? ESPN has an option, but with our draft order all over the place with all our trades, I am not sure how hard that would be to set up. Also, we have been known to trade picks during the draft.

Love to hear some thoughts......

Maybe we can devote a full night, or two nights...or even a Saturday to get the draft done over a few hours...where we can take a little time but still conduct trading...if everyone is on at the same time, if there is a trade in the works, give a 10-minute time limit....after ten minutes, time's up, have 2 minutes to make a pick or the next team picks.  Passed over team picks at end of the round?

d have you all over the house for a Saturday, but kind of inconvenient because everyone lives all over the place..lol

I'm up for some version of a live draft. A one-day event. In the past, I know Scoop has found that difficult, but with iPhone and Red riding shotgun perhaps he can make it work.

I agree that what we've been doing in the recent past is far too time consuming.

I will look into what options are available on ESPN. It's been years since I have looked.....
