Judging by all the posts on the ESPN message boards, a lot of us were glued to the games last night. It really does feel different now that it's the playoffs!!
Good starts from Richard, Brandon and Scoop have some of us scrambling. New tactics? Fire the coach? Kick the GM to the corner? Oops, forget that last suggestion.
I'm excited to see how this round unfolds....

I thought that we had all agreed, that it was to be the team with the lowest point total that advances to the next round? What's going on here exactly? I mean, isn't everyone trying to accumulate as few points as possible?

I don't recall that rule in the league manifesto, but depending on how this first round ends up, I'd be willing to debate the rule change ... for this year! LOL.

Hmm I seem to remember we made that rule change back in Octovembuary.

Well unfortunately for me Mike has brought his A-Game to this to start. I am not doing to bad being that Halak has "the flu" Satan is a minor league player (though kind of has been all year) and Leino is also a minor league player (has actually been a in the minors all year so that one is on me).
All of that said as of the end of Day 4
The number 8 seed (25 GP) leads the number 1 seed (25 GP) by about 10 points.
The number 2 seed (28 GP) leads the number 7 seed (21 GP) by about 40 points.
The number 6 seed (27 GP) leads the number 3 seed (27 GP) by around 90 points. ???
The number 5 seed (24 GP) leads the number 4 seed (27 GP) by 3.7 points.
I have to say I am finding it all rather fascinating to watch unfold (well almost all of it thanks to Mike )
Plenty of games left and I imagine things will continue to prove riveting.
Good luck everyone!

Yes, Brandon and Richard have done really well out of the gate and it will be interesting to see how things unfold as the 1st round continues.
Bounce back tonight for the Fitzsy Stars ... finally a few points from Boyes.
HUGE night for the Omnipresence to come within spitting distance of Vandelay.
Arthur Tigers and STD continue their close match-up.
Only strange occurrence is Desolation Row struggling out of the gate. His team showed a bit of life tonight, however, so perhaps this lapse is just temporary. Will be interesting to see if he can overcome the 100 point deficit.
I agree Keegan: this is really fascinating to watch!
