Wow...fantasy hockey spillover

In one of my other leagues. A trade went down Ovechkin for Marek Malik. People went ape-shit after they saw this. The guy getting Malik said. "It's ok, I made 50 bucks." Meaning he traded Ovechkin for 50 dollars.

This is a big no-no in most leagues. And now they might be booted out. Anyone with a decent job and decent money could then buy their way into the top spot. Its crazy how you see people weave their way into try to get their way into everything

Very clearly no dollars can trade hands. This would spoil the league for all uninvolved franchises. It's clearly grounds for removal from a league.

I agree, its backdoor trading like this, and over-vetoing that can destroy a league very fast

It's definitely a balance, and that's what we will strive for here. No question the Ovechkin for Malek trade is not allowable, though. That's pretty obvious.

Can't see vetoing any trades unless they are clearly and hugely lopsided.
