Interesting to see that Kronwall went from dud of the week in Week Four, to Top Defenceman in Week Five. Bit of a Jekyl and Hyde thing going on there.
That incredible week by Jakub Voracek also deserves mention.

At the end of a week I often like to compare my totals to others to try to give me an idea of how my team is doing. Although I scraped together a win last week vs Oshie It!, there are some serious issues on my roster. In short, I just don't seem to be generating enough points. Now how can that be? I decided to do a little digging and after an exhaustive session of research here is what I have discovered:
Desolation Row as a whole is not generating enough points because the individual players that comprise the roster are not generating enough points. There is a duality that is both causal and tempranic and it follows that said issue can only be solved by a blockbuster trade. I don't think anyone in their right mind could argue that.
Now, how about The Gamblers! Two weeks in a row pulling in the Highest Nightly total. Impressive. The Gamblers can make some noise it seems.
And how about N.Kronwall? From Dud of the Week, to Top Defenseman of the week. Not sure that we have ever seen that before.
I am keeping my eye on PoPo vs The Fitzsy Stars. It is awfully close right now and PoPo win would lock the two teams up at 4-2. The Soo Storm vs Shorside Situations will also be fun. I certainly would welcome a Storm win.
And a good week to all.

I cannot talk about the Voracek week because Scoop took him just before I was going to in the draft.

I like the scientific underpinnings of your hypothesis.

I also found that interesting. 4-1 record. Tied for 1st place and no appearance on the Big Board until week 5.
Curious.
