New season. New avatar.

I have recently read a piece on Dobber that links scary avatars with fantasy success. So, it is out with Calvin and Hobbes and in with the nasty, smirking, devilly sort of thing.

See how things proceed from here.

My mistake. In the article it clearly stated, ''scary, nature photo''. So, I have deleted the scary creature and replaced it with a scary nature photo that should vault me into first place. Goalie or no goalie.

You are certainly "scary" indeed. No matter what the picture/avatar is.

While you were at it, why didn't you just ripoff the forum's picture above to use as your avatar.

Do the number of lightning bolts indicate your place of finish this year?

If a co-commissioner makes a sound way over in Switzerland and no one is around to hear it, does it really make a souind?

Maybe not having an avatar was what did me in (rather than my atrocious defense?)

When I try and link to pictures on the web it keeps failing. Any idea why? Do I need to resize them first?

Size matters, that's what I was told.

Greg is a skinny bugger, I can attest to that. He'll need to beef up a little if he plans on competing for the title this year

I don't know Joel. I tried to upload a picture and it wouldn't take. I did not try to downsize it so I cannot answer you. I put other pictures up before but can't remember what I did to make it stick.

I will try again tonight and if I find an answer, I will let you know.

You know what would be really cool? Having lightning strike the diver in midair. Now that would be awesome.

With a shark/killer whale surging up from the surf, and Hillbilly's chasing with guns...

If (when) both Khabibulin and Leclair go down with injuries I will photoshop in some lightening striking me in midair. That would be fitting I think.

I haven't tried downloading a picture directly from the Internet, but I've had no problem downloading from my computer's hard drive. When you click on "Profile", then on the Avatar button it should bring up a screen that allows you to choose a picture from your computer.

And yes, I think you will need to attach a picture if you ever hope of competing this year. Clearly that is why your team faltered down the stretch. LOL.

I don't know where that is to tell you the truth. I have another picture I to use but don't have it with me right now.
