2010 Draft Day

Greg already confirmed this in the middle of another thread, but I thought I would post it in a thread all it's own, just so there is no confusion.

Draft: 3rd Saturday in September which works out to be Saturday, September 18th.

Keepers: Must be fixed one week prior to the draft which is.....September 11th.

Be there or be square.

As for time, how about we aim to start the thing at 2:00 pm EST. That means 1:00 pm in Saskatchewan, Noon in Alberta, 11:00 am in British Columbia and 8:00 pm in Switzerland.

also: does everyone have access to MSN Messenger? That might be the easiest and fastest way to make our picks.

I'll be doing the draft from my iphone though because I will be at another draft already that is local, will someone be keeping a chart that is up to date?

i can have a post on this site that i can just keep editing as we pick

I have an app that lets me connect to msn so that won't be a problem as long as I can quickly go down the list of who's been picked I'll be golden (not shower)

No, we can't do it on ESPN. Complications with the way we've set our league up. I think the most ideal scenario would be to have it on MSN Messenger, but in the event that doesn't work we can just hold it on this site.

Hopefully most people can show up for the draft a few minutes early to see about getting on MSN to make it work. That would definitely be easiest IMO.

Hey fellas........

Matt mentioned above that we should shoot for 2pm. Would anyone get their knickers in a knot if we started a bit later? I will have two children climbing on me should we start at 2pm and I will need full focus. If we can scoot it ahead a tad (say 3pm or 4pm) that would be lovely. If not, so it goes.

Doesn't matter to me at all. If we did it at 3:00 pm EST then that would make it 9:00 pm for you in Swizzleland?

That would of course be 1:00 pm Mountain Time and Noon for me on the West Coast.
