week 1 (schedule)

just noticed that the first week matchups are from thursday -sunday.

do we have the option of extending the 1st week of the regular schedule to cover those days + the following week.

or would people rather leave as is

Not sure if we have that option.

And even if we did, we would have to shorten the number of match-ups to 19, and I would prefer less to do that. I think we should keep it at 20 match-ups.

oh okay, didn't look at the total weeks.

I see that Matt and Greger face off week 1. THE BATTLE OF THE COMMISH'S

I would just like to add in the "Battle of the Commish's" that we faced off four times last year and I am a perfect 4-0 against that hooligan.

(Yeah, I'm still a little bitter about losing Neuvirth and Carlson). LOL.

Can you have the first week overlap with the second week. (6 game first week, 4 game 2nd week) You'd use a bunch of games against two teams.

That wouldn't really be possible either.

1) First, I don't think we can re-jig ESPN to do it.

2) Second, most teams in the second weak have short weeks as well, so you'd be taking away from a sparse week to give to another sparse week. I don't think it would really make the situation any better to be honest.

I think we're just going to have to roll then dice with the first week and hope for the best! Statistically it is a very small sample, but thems the breaks I guess.

We've been known to do double weeks in the other pool I play in (play two opponents) so that things work out.
