I just sent a mass email to everyone that should explain all of your questions in detail. Basically, everyone has been assigned three "placeholders" that they can use to choose prospects that are not listed on ESPN.
There is an ESPN messenging forum at the bottom of the screen during the draft. If you want to choose a player not listed on ESPN, use one of your assigned placeholders and then type in the messaging forum who that placeholder represents.
